Catholic Education in Sandhurst

The Sandhurst Diocese is a community of 60 schools, providing Primary and Secondary education to 15,000 students across an area of approximately 45,000 square kilometres in central and north-eastern Victoria.

The Primary schools are predominantly Parish based, although we have some Parishes without a Primary school. The schools range in size from 16 to 550 and are as far-flung as Kerang in the North (West) to Corryong in the far North East, down to Heathcote and Bendigo in the Centre of the State.

The Secondary schools are in most large regional areas (Bendigo, Shepparton, Echuca, Benalla, Wangaratta and Wodonga), as well as in Nathalia, Myrtleford and Yarrawonga which serve smaller communities.

There are also three specialist school settings, catering for students requiring more intensive psycho/emotional and academic support to assist with transition back to mainstream education or work.
